RESULTS

SAN MARCOS, Texas - One week after an emotional performance at the 2013 SWAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship, several members of the Prairie View A&M women's track team made the short trek to San Marcos, Texas to participate in the Bobcat Classic at Texas State University.

Monique Green and Myesha Dixon ran personal-bests in the 200 as Green ran 24.74 and Dixon finished with a time of 25.07. Dixon finished fifth in the 100-meter hurdles while the mile relay team of Terracia Moody, Sylvonna Thompson, Ugonna Okpala and Kelsi Alexander placed third with a time of 3:42.18. 

The Lady Panthers still have several opportunities to quality additional athletes for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in Austin, Texas beginning on May 23.  The team will participate in a variety of last chance meets up until the start of the NCAA West Preliminary Round.  The list of eligible participants for the event will be announced May 16.
