Cameron Vaughn |
The Prairie View A&M women's basketball team added National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American forward Cameron Vaughn to its lists of exceptional signees. Vaughn, a 5-10 native of Xenia, Ohio, joins the Lady Panthers as a junior college transfer that averaged 13.6 points, 13.4 rebounds and 1.9 steals for a Cincinnati State team that finished the 2012-13 season ranked No. 19 in the NJCAA national poll.

Vaughn was the team's second-leading scorer (13.6 points) and led the team in rebounds (13.4) while at Cincinnati State as a sophomore…She was named to the 2013 NJCAA All-American Team…She was named the 2013 Ohio Community College Athletic Conference Player of the year after an outstanding sophomore campaign…Finished second in the nation  (NJCAA Division II) with 430 total rebounds and 207 offensive rebounds as a sophomore…Her 13.4 rebounds per game was good enough for ninth nationally…She shot 47.7 percent from the field, ranking 55
th nationally as a sophomore…Vaughn converted 105 free throw shots as a sophomore, ranking 31
st amongst all NJCAA Division II players.
