LAKE CHARLES, La. - The Prairie View A&M men's golf team kicked off its 2014 spring season this past weekend at the Moe O'Brien Intercollegiate Invitational at the Lake Charles County Club.

The Panthers had a rough start to open tourney play before finishing the final and third round of action with its lowest score of the tourney.  Jason Hudson posted the team's lowest score after shooting a 77 in the final round of the tournament.

Both the men's and women's teams travel to Alexandria, La. for the TSU Texas SWAC Classic this weekend.
