The Prairie View A&M women's track team returned to the track after a week's hiatus as they participated at the Howie Ryan Invitational on the University of Houston campus last weekend.

Shaleetha Jackson ran a season-low 7.77 in the preliminary round of the 60-meter dash while Monique Green set a season-low mark of 25.74 in the 200 and missed setting an indoor personal best by 1/10 of a second.

Senior Sylvonna Thompson placed 12^th overall (59.12) in the 400 while freshman Jada Curbeam finished fourth during the high jump portion of the pentathlon.

The Lady Panthers will head to Birmingham, Ala. this weekend to participate at the Samford Multi and Invitational.
