Victor H. Pegram was known as one of the SWAC’s top running back in the 1980’s in Football. He made strides early earning all-conference distinction as well as becoming a black college All-American in 1987. Just to name a few additional accomplishments, he was the Ebony Magazine Newcomer of the Year 1986, SWAC Newcomer of the Year 1986, started PVAMU Career with 5 consecutive 100-yard games, and player of the week in 1988 PVAMU vs TSU with a 67-yard game-winning touchdown.

He is married to Beverly.
