Lady Panthers Earn Road Win Versus Huston-Tillotson

BOX SCORE

AUSTIN, Texas – The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers snapped their three-game losing streak by pounding Huston-Tillotson during a 3-0 sweep in Austin on Tuesday night.

Even though Prairie View A&M did not have the services of middle blocker Christine Ruckman and setter Maria Moulaz, the team's kills and assists leaders, respectively, the senior duo of Jasmine Houston and Maegan Coleman had no problem spiking their way to a Lady Panther non-conference win.

Houston had a team-high 12 kills and kept Huston-Tillotson in a defensive frame of mind with 21 total attacks. Coleman was deadly accurate tallying her eight kills on just nine attacks for a .889 kill percentage.

Lady Panthers' right side/setter Breanna McNeil managed to keep her teammates going with a game-high 28 assists and did her part defensively with a team-high six digs.

Prairie View (5-16, 3-0 SWAC) returns to action on Tuesday as they'll host Huston-Tillotson in the Baby Dome beginning at 7 p.m.
