In a pivotal Southwestern Athletic Conference match, the Prairie View A&M women's volleyball team will play host to the Southern Jaguars at 6 p.m. Thursday night in the William Nicks Building (Baby Dome).

The Lady Panthers sit atop of the West Division with a 5-1 SWAC record, and Southern is looking to make up some ground as the 1-3 Jaguars look to knock off Prairie View A&M. 

Lady Panthers senior outside hitter Breanna McNeil is fresh off of a 25-kill game, in which Prairie View A&M defeated Texas Southern 3-1 to create separation in the West. McNeil, junior setter Kelsey Espinosa and senior outside hitter Bruna Menezes will try to efficiently score against a Southern squad that is hungry for a win.

The Prairie View A&M defense, led by sophomore libero LaKeisha Allen and defensive specialists Shanice Faison, Danielle Sullivan and Monecia Prestron will also try to dig out a victory.
