The Prairie View A&M Panthers return to the Port City to face SWAC West rival Southern University in a big divisional showdown on Saturday afternoon at Independence Stadium with a 4 p.m. kickoff.  Both Prairie View A&M and Southern enter this weekend's game chasing divisional foe Arkansas-Pine Bluff as UAPB has a  two-game lead over both teams in the SWAC West standings.  With the margin  for error extremely slim, today's game is for the marbles as a loss by either  team will basically eliminate them from the championship race.  The game will be streamed live on Panthervision.
