The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers suffered a 3-0 loss at home to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Monday night in the William Nicks Building.
The Lady Panthers dropped the match (25-19, 25-18, 25-16) but remained atop of the Southwestern Athletic Conference Western Division as the loss did not affect league play.
Senior outside hitter Breanna McNeil led the Lady Panthers with 11 kills and two solo blocks in the losing effort, and junior setter Kelsey Espinosa had a game-high of 19 assists. Sophomore libero Shanice Faison led the team with a total of six digs, and junior outside hitter Charae Caldwell had a game-high three solo blocks.
The Lady Panthers will return to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7 for Senior Night against Alcorn State at the William Nicks Building. The match can be viewed on Panthervision, the official streaming service of Prairie View A&M Athletics.
