The offensive-defensive duo of Kelsey Espinosa and Shanice Faison won Southwestern Athletic Conference Honors for the second-consecutive weeks.
Faison was the top defender for the week as she finished with a total of 31 digs. The sophomore libero from Converse, Texas had 24 digs in a hard-fought loss to Houston Baptist.
Espinosa also repeated as Newcomer of the Week. The junior setter from Pflugerville, Texas was solid across the board for the Lady Panthers. She tallied 10 kills, 58 assists, 16 digs and three aces for the week. She also added three blocks.
