Think Pink For Volleyball Breast Cancer Game Vs. TSU

Prairie View A&M continues its home-stand with a 7 p.m. match on Thursday vs. Texas Southern in the William Nicks Building. Tickets will be $5 at the box office and students gain free entrance to the match with a valid student ID. The game has been designated the Lady Panthers' breast cancer awareness game, and fans are encouraged to wear pink to show support for the cause. The game will also be streamed live on the SWAC Digital Network for free. Fans can visit www.SWAC.org on game day to watch the broadcast of the game.

The Lady Panthers will rally behind senior setter Kelsey Espinosa, who won her second-consecutive setter of the week award. The 5-7 senior out of Austin came through with her third-consecutive game with 30 assists or more. She had a game-high of 33 assists to complement a seven dig performance with four kills in a 3-1 loss to Houston on Tuesday. Espinosa is averaging 34.7 assists in her last seven games.

Senior outside hitter Candyce Alexander has Also been a factor for Prairie View A&M. She is averaging 13.6 points per match over Prairie View A&M's last three games. That includes an average of 11.3 kills per match and a nine-kill performance in the Lady Panthers' 3-1 loss to Houston.
