Larissa Scott came through as the Lady Panthers leading scorer and top rebounder with 12 points and 11 boards to record her second-consecutive double-double. Scott had four double-doubles all of last season. Jeanette Jackson provided 11 points and four assist and two steals. Jackson's 11-point performance proved to be the fifth-consecutive double-digit scoring game.

Prairie View A&M got a six-point halftime performance by freshman guard Alexus Parker. She was 2-for-4 from three point range as the Lady Panthers tried to stay within range of the Horned Frogs.  Parker finished with seven points and three rebounds. 

TCU jumped out to an early lead on Prairie View A&M out of the gates and held off the Lady Panthers before entering the locker room at the half trailing 39-19. The Horned Frogs started the second half off on a 13-3 run to extend its lead 52-22 lead. The Lady Panthers were held off for the remainder of the game as they tried to find their stride offensively.

The Lady Panthers kick off conference play at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4 as they play host Southern in the William Nicks Building (Baby Dome).
