The Panthers have their eyes set on two wins in a row as they play hosts to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Tuesday at 2 p.m. on the tennis courts.

Prairie View A&M dominated Jacksonville College on Jan. 28 in a 7-0 victory at home, looking ahead to this anticipated match. Against Jacksonville College the Panthers swept all doubles matches to take the point and then wreaked havoc in singles play.
Ronald Chidzikwe led the way in singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Gil Lim.
Daniel Vasquez, playing at No. 3, defeated Tyler Smith 6-1, 6-0. After winning the first set against Jonathan Taylor, Prairie View A&M junior
Craig Wiltz forced his opponent to retire in the second set for the victory.

The Panthers have revenge on the mind looking back to last season's losses to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Islanders took down Prairie View A&M 7-0 at Prairie View and in Corpus Christi to sweep the series. The Panthers return No. 3
Ronald Chidzikwe, No. 4
Kristen Powell and No. 5
Trenton Johnson, who participated in those matches. Powell and Chidzikwe were playing at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots last season, and Johnson was a solid No. 4 for Prairie View A&M.

Wiltz and No. 2
Jackson Varney have added considerable depth to Prairie View A&M as well as the addition of
Daniel Vasquez. Prairie View A&M looks to turn what was a sweep into a day of competitive tennis at home.
