The Prairie View A&M Panthers close out their three-game road swing this Saturday in Baton Rouge, La. as they prepare to face Southern University in a 6 p.m. SWAC West showdown at A.W. Mumford Stadium.

Saturday's game marks the second divisional contest for the Panthers in three weeks while Southern opens SWAC play after two weeks of non-conference games.  For the third straight week, the Panthers will be showcased on television as the game will be televised by Cox Sports TV.  During pregame festivities, Southern will honor the 20th anniversary of the 1993 team which won a SWAC Championship and Black College National Championship in former coach Pete Richardson's first season.   Three members of the Panther coaching staff were apart of the team during that time.
