PRAIRIE VIEW A&M GAME NOTESFour-time defending Southwestern Athletic Conference champion Prairie View A&M leaves the contiguous United States for the first time in three years this weekend when the Lady Panthers travel to Hawaii to take part in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Rainbow Wahine Shootout in Honolulu. The Lady Panthers take on No. 11/No. 12 North Carolina at 6 p.m. Saturday (2 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time) before concluding the event with Stanford at 6 p.m. Sunday (2 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time).

Jeanette Jackson, are looking for their first win this season. They are coming off a hard-fought, 72-58 loss to Hawai'i on Friday. The Lady Panthers and Tar Heels are meeting for the second time in program history; North Carolina defeated Prairie View A&M 95-38 in the opening round of the 2007 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament in Pittsburgh, Pa.
