ATLANTA -- The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets handed Prairie View A&M only its second loss of the season in defeating the Lady Panthers 96-48.
Georgia Tech (8-3) used a 33-point second quarter, shooting 13-of-15 from the field in the process, to pull away from Prairie View A&M (4-2).
Larissa Scott led the Lady Panthers with 10 points, five rebounds, and five steals. The five rebounds were the lowest total in a game this season for Scott, who leads the SWAC and ranks third in the NCAA in rebounding. Atlanta native

Lamaria Cole, who was held 10 points under her season average due to early foul trouble.
Roddreka Rogers led Georgia Tech with 25 points. The Yellow Jackets took a 50-29 lead into halftime.
Prairie View A&M returns to action Friday when they face Wichita State in the team's first game at the Shocker Winter Classic. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
