The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers make their final visit of season to the state of Mississippi on Saturday when they face the Lady Tigers of Jackson State. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
Prairie View A&M (9-13, 6-4 SWAC) seeks its first season sweep of Jackson State since the 2009-10 season. The Lady Panthers claimed defeated the Lady Tigers 82-65 when the teams first met in Prairie View on Jan. 17. It's been five years since the Lady Panthers won at Jackson State; they defeated the Lady Tigers 64-40 on Feb. 13, 2010.

Jeanette Jackson. A senior guard out of Las Vegas, Nev. (Sierra Vista HS), Jackson leads the SWAC with a scoring average of 18.1 points per game. She is second in the conference in assists, giving out 3.6 assists per contest.Â
Brooks (West Point, Ga. / Troupe HS), has posted double-doubles in seven of her last eight games. The junior averages 8.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per contest. In conference play, Brooks is averaging a double of 10.3 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.
The Lady Tigers of Jackson State (7-15) enter the contest with a record of 4-7 in SWAC play. Jackson State has lost three of its last four games, and are 1-3 at home this season. The Lady Tigers have yet to win a conference game this season on their home court.
