The Prairie View A&M volleyball team is headed to Jackson, Miss. for the Southwestern Athletic Volleyball Tournament.
Prairie View A&M heads into the tournament as the fifth seed, and will open play with a 1:30 p.m. match Friday versus fourth seed Alabama A&M. The Tournament is being held on the campus of SWAC defending champs (seventh seed) Jackson State.
PVAMU and Alabama A&M split the regular season, each winning in its respective gyms. When PV traveled to Huntsville, Ala. The Bulldogs got the upper hand winning 3-1 (17-25, 22-25, 25-21, 13-25). However, the match in Prairie View was in favor of the Lady Panthers, who won 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19).

Christen Augustine both had one award for their perspective positon apiece.
