The Prairie View A&M women's basketball team will look to get its second straight win on the road when they take on Texas Tech Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

The Lady Panthers are coming off a 78-68 win over Marshall during the Feast on the Boarder Tournament, hosted by Texas-Rio Grande Valley.
 
PV's senior Alexus Parker led the Lady Panthers with 25 points, while teammate and fellow senior Tori Carter paced 24 points in the win.  Freshman Dominique Newman had 14 points in her first start. 


Prairie View A&M comes into Lubbock with a 3-3 record on the season.  Texas Tech is 3-2, after falling to Miami 74-56 during the Miami Thanksgiving Tournament.
 
This will be just the fifth time that these two teams will meet on the hardwood.  They last met in Lubbock on November 29, 2009 as the Lady Raiders edged the Lady Panthers 67-60.  Texas Tech owns the lead in the all-time series, with a 4-0 advantage.
