BATON ROUGE, La. – The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers close out the regular season Saturday when they visit the Southern Jaguars. Larissa Scott (pictured) leads the Lady Panthers into Baton Rouge, averaging 12.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. She is the only player in the SWAC averaging a double-double. Scott has scored 949 points in her Prairie View A&M career, and her next start will be her 100th in a Prairie View A&M uniform.

The series
Southern leads the all-time series with the Lady Panthers 56-20 dating back to the start of the NCAA's women's basketball era in 1981. The Jaguars have won four straight over the Prairie View A&M since the Lady Panthers' 72-43 win over Southern in the semifinal round of the 2014 postseason SWAC Tournament. The Jaguars won 65-55 in Prairie View earlier this season.
