"Tori Carter has really been doing a great job for us, she pretty much our floor general.  She takes a lot of pride in the things that she does.  She's that person when games have been tough she tries to get the ball in the right hands and make the right passes.  Her leadership is und, she doesn't take breaks off she really plays hard and has been logging a lot of minutes and she deserves it.  I just hope that she continues to be the leader has been showing her leadership on the floor.  The one thing that she brings to the floor every day is her work ethics."

Jackson State took a 70-53 loss to Alcorn Wednesday night after weather in the Mississippi area delayed Saturday's scheduled game.  Derica Wiggins is leading the team in scoring averaging 10.9 points per game, while Adams is second on the team in scoring averaging 10.4 ppg.  Chelsea Causey is leading Jackson State in rebounding averaging 7.4 rpg, she is third in the league in rebounding.

"Jackson State is a really good team," Justice said. "We just have to come in and take care of the things that we do well and just compete and play hard.  They play hard so we have match the intensity. We are going to have do well defensively against Jackson State," Justice said.  "We need to know who we are guarding and make sure we take away things that they do well.  Wiggins is a skilled kid and we must make sure we are there on the catch."
