PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas -  The Prairie View A&M volleyball team will play matches at Texas Southern and Arkansas Pine Bluff in the next five days to wrap up the regular season.  PVAMU will take on the TSU Tigers on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. before the regular season finale against UAPB on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
 
The Lady Panthers have won their last three competitions heading into Thursday's match.  PVAMU picked up a 3-1 win over Grambling on Sunday and then took a 3-1 win over Southern on Monday.  Both victories led to Christen Augustine (Defensive Player of the Week) and Erica Jimenez (Setter of the Week) being named as SWAC Volleyball Players of the Week.
 
Prairie View A&M is led offensively by sophomore Larissa Martinez, who is averaging more than two kills per set.  Freshman middle blocker Victoria Pearson leads the Lady Panthers in blocks with 44.  Defensively, Augustine leads PVAMU with 351 digs averaging 4.33 digs per set, while she is second in the league.
