COLLEGE STATION, Texas – On another dreary day with the threat of rain, the Prairie View A&M University men's tennis team took a 7-0 loss to Texas A&M at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.
The Aggies (10-3) earned the doubles point by winning at all three position and then clinched the singles sets to get the win over the Panthers (3-15).
In singles play, Anirudh Yadav at the No. 5 position forced a third set, competing against Kevin Lam of TAMU. Lam won the first set 6-4 and Yadav took set two with the score of 7-5. In the final set Lam won 12-10 giving him the point for the Aggies.
The Panthers will be back at Prairie View for a match against the United States Naval Academy. The match will be played at the PVAMU Tennis Courts starting at 2 p.m.
