PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas –  In doubleheader action for the Prairie View A&M women's and men's tennis teams home opener, both teams fell 7-0 to TAMCC in the early match.  In the afternoon match up for the PVAMU men's team the Panthers fell 6-0 to the Islanders.
 
In each of the matches the Lady Panthers fought hard, but could not come up with a match point. 
 
The duo of Ulrick Boyogueno and Andriuh Yadav were able to capture their set with a win over the Islanders set of twins Francois and Okkie Kellerman, by the scores of 6-4.
 
In the evening match for the Panthers they battled, but it wasn't enough to overcome the 6-0 loss to Texas A&M.
 
The Panther teams will return to action on Saturday, when they face the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, Texas for an 11 a.m. set.
