PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – Fresh from a week off, the Prairie View A&M volleyball team will be looking to complete the East SWAC Round Up with a winning record starting Friday in Huntsville, Ala.
"We have our work cut out for us this weekend," said head PVAMU volleyball coach
TaCho Tyler. "This roundup is even more important than the first. All SWAC play determines seeding and we need to take it one match at a time and come out of the weekend with a winning conference record."
The Lady Panthers (4-17, 4-5 SWAC) will start the round up facing league-leading team Alabama A&M (13-12, 9-0) at 12:30 p.m. PVAMU will end the day against the Mississippi Valley State Devilettes (3-20, 1-8 SWAC) at 3 p.m.
Prairie View A&M will continue the round up on Saturday against SWAC defending champion Alabama State (10-17, 7-2) at 10 a.m. The Lady Panthers will play the nightcap against Jackson State (8-16, 6-3 SWAC) at 7 p.m.
The round up will conclude on Sunday, when PVAMU faces the Lady Braves of Alcorn State (7-13, 3-6) for a 10 a.m. finale.
