LEBANON, Ill. – On the second day of the Bearcat Hammer Open hosted by McKendree, the Prairie View A&M bowling team remains in 11^th place.
 
The Lady Panthers finished with a record of 6-4 overall and went 3-2 on the day.  They tallied a pin fall of 4,595 and ended the day with a pin fall of 8,977 averaging 179.5 per game.
 
Out of a field of 16, the Lady Panthers opened the day in traditional play falling to 15^th-ranked North Carolina A&T 1,078-955, before posting a win over 21^st –ranked University of Wisconsin Whitewater (931-912) in the second match of the day, then falling to 4^th-ranked Vanderbilt 993-913. 
 
In the fourth matchup of the day, PVAMU defeated Valparaiso 995-848 and in a back-to-back match, defeated them again by the score of 901-874. 
 
PVAMU will return to action when they matchup with Valparaiso for a third time in the bracket rounds, beginning at 8 a.m.
