JACKSON, Miss. – On the final day of the Jackson State University Sonic Boom Invitational the Prairie View A&M bowling team completed the weekend in third place.
 
"We had a slow start, but finished strong today," said head PVAMU bowling coach Glenn White.  "I'm proud of the team and how they competed this weekend.  We'll take a short break and get in some good practice to prepare for springs heavy schedule of competition."
 
The team finished the 2-1 falling to Texas Southern in the early match 4-1, but picked up their next to competitions with a 4-1 win over Southern and picking up their final win over Texas Southern 4-2 in the final match of the day.
 
The Lady Panthers will take a break and return to the lanes in January for the SWAC West roundup to be held at the ITRC Center in Dallas, Texas.
