A new and exciting way for Panther Nation to support Prairie View A&M student-athletes is here as PVAMU Athletics introduces the Panther Excellence Fund.

The Panther Excellence Fund is the new annual fund for the overall growth and development of the athletic department. Contributions to the Panther Excellence Fund will be directed for the overall enhancement of the Athletic Department. The following are examples of how funds can be allocated:

- SCHOLARSHIPS:Â Over 350 Panther and Lady Panther student-athletes have chosen to further their education at Prairie View A&M University. The ability to provide athletic scholarships helps offset the expense of a college education and have a significant impact on the wellbeing of any student-athlete.
- FACILITY ENHANCEMENTS:Â To continue to attract the best prospective student-athletes in the region, state and surrounding states, it is imperative that we strive to build and improve our facilities.
- DEPARTMENTAL BUDGETS:Â As indicated above, increasing expenses have created many challenges in intercollegiate athletics. These increasing expenses affect our recruiting, travel and supplies budgets. The Prairie View A&M University Athletic Department created the Panther Excellence Fund to help offset these budget needs, so that our coaches can focus on developing our student-athletes and winning games.

Achieving athletic success requires commitment and teamwork from many individuals working together—student-athletes, coaches, fans, and more. Panther Excellence Fund donors are essential members of this team. Contributions to the Panther Excellence Fund help us increase scholarship opportunities, enhance athletic training and academic programming, and maintain and improve our facilities.
