PRAIRIE VIEW – Prairie View A&M women's basketball will open the 2020 Cricket Wireless Southwestern Athletic Conference Tournament at defending conference champion and No. 3 seed Southern in F.G. Clark Activity Center. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
The Panthers (12-18, 9-9 SWAC) earned the No. 6 seed in tournament play. This will mark the second game between the teams in the past four days.
Prairie View A&M dropped both regular season meetings to Southern. The Jaguars have won two of the past three SWAC tournament meetings between the teams, but this will be the first time the sides have met since PVAMU Head Coach
Sandy Pugh resigned as Southern's coach.
