PRAIRIE VIEW – After a 20-day layoff, the Prairie View A&M women's basketball team hits the court for three games in four days as the Panthers host Mississippi Valley State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
PVAMU faces the Lady Lions in back-to-back contests on February 22 at 5 p.m. and February 23 at 3 p.m., then take on the Devilettes February 25 at 4 p.m.

Diana Rosenthal, Prairie View A&M dropped a 83-70 contest to Alabama State on February 1.
Tamiracle Taylor scored a season-high 15 points in the loss.
Storylines to Watch:
> Prairie View A&M is shooting 44.1 percent from the floor as a team, a mark good for second-best in the SWAC. Additionally, the Panthers concede the second-fewest rebounds per game at 33.4.
> With her effort versus Alabama State, Rosenthal recorded her 15th career game with 10 or more points and her sixth double-figure scoring effort of the season. Rosenthal leads the Panthers in scoring at 12.8 points per game.
> Prairie View A&M has won seven-straight games over Mississippi Valley State and is 6-1 in its past seven outings versus UAPB.
Scouting the Opponents:
> Zakiya Mahoney leads Mississippi Valley (3-11, 1-9 SWAC) in scoring at 13.7 points per game, and Annya Moss has flashed as a reliable option, averaging 10.6 points per game. Mahoney scored 19 points to lead MVSU to its first conference win of the season, a 67-65 triumph over Alcorn State.
> UAPB (2-14, 1-9 SWAC) has dropped nine straight contests. Khadijah Brown has been a bright spot for the Lady Lions, averaging a team-best 14.9 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. Kalia Walker is another offensive spark for UAPB, averaging 11.1 points, 3.4 assists and 2.9 rebounds a night.
