PRAIRIE VIEW – The Prairie View A&M women's basketball team (3-9, 2-7 SWAC) hits the road for the final time in the regular season to take on Alabama A&M (February 27, 4 p.m.) and Alabama State (March 1, 5:30 p.m.) in a pair of Southwestern Athletic Conference games.

Last Time Out:
> The Panthers saw a two-game winning streak come to an end in heartbreaking fashion, a 61-57 overtime loss to Mississippi Valley State. Tamiracle Taylor led PVAMU with 20 points. Diana Rosenthal added 13 points.

Storylines to Watch:
> Taylor has found her stride offensively, averaging better than 15 points a game over the previous four outings. She has scored in double figures in five of her past seven games.
> Sophomore Kennedy Paul has posted career-highs in points in two of her past three games.
> PVAMU is 1-3 on the road versus Alabama State over the teams' past four meetings. However, the Panthers are 7-1 in their last eight road matchups versus Alabama A&M

Scouting AAMU:
> At 6-3 in SWAC play, Alabama A&M has won six of its past eight games, four coming by double digits. Dariauna Lewis is putting together a Player of the Year-esque campaign, leading the Lady Bulldogs with averages of 16.9 points and 13.3 rebounds. Deshawna Harper (14.2 PPG, 3.8 RPG) and Nigeria Jones (12.2 PPG, 3.2 RPG) gives AAMU a formidable triple threat that the Panthers must slow down.

Scouting ASU:
> Alabama State sits at 11-2 on the season, with both losses coming to Southern. The Lady Hornets have arguably the most explosive offense in the SWAC, led by the impressive trio of Ayana Emmanuel (team-best 16.4 PPG), reigning Shmya Ward (16.0 PPG, 9.3 RPG) and Jayla Crawford (12.2 PPG).
