PRAIRIE VIEW – The Prairie View A&M volleyball team had another tough outing, again with the Lady Panthers walking away with the 3-1 victory on senior night over the Lady Braves of Alcorn State in the William J. Nicks Building.
Two Lady Panthers recorded at least double-digit figures during the match, with freshman
Leila Smalls leading the way with 23. Smalls also put up a scorching hitting percentage of .559. Freshman
Kylee Owens followed behind with 13 kills, including four service aces and 17 digs.

Jakarta Hope ran the Lady Panthers offense, dishing out 21 and 18 assists respectively. Senior
Skyla Childs anchored the defense with 18 digs. Hope added 10 to the win.
After dropping the first set 25-18, PVAMU found new life as it dominated the second and third sets by the scores of 25-12 and 25-21. The Lady Braves would not go without a fight staying competitive down the line, but PV came out on top taking a set four 25-18 win.
Tonight, wrapped up the regular season for the Lady Panthers as they wait for the seeding announcement by the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
