PRAIRIE VIEW – For the fourth game of the season the Panthers football team will head to Montgomery, Ala., for its second Southwestern Athletic Conference game of the year.   Prairie View and the Hornets are set for a 5 p.m. kickoff inside of Hornet Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Prairie View A&M University will enter Saturdays contest 1-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play.  In the Panthers last contest they fell to Southland Conference opponent UIW in a 31-14 decision.  Alabama State also enters Saturday's contest 2-1 overall and 0-0 in the conference.

The Panthers defeated the Hornets last season during the homecoming game 24-20.

Junior Ahmad Antoine leads the team on the ground with 238 yards.  He is 18^th in the FCS in rushing touchdowns and 36^th with total touchdowns. Antoine is averaging 79.3 yards per contest.

As a team PVAMU is ranked 3^rd in block kicks, 4^th in blocked punts, 9^th with passes intercepted and 35^th in FCS total defense.
