PANTHERS GEAR UP FOR HOMECOMING CLASH AGAINST LIONS

It's homecoming weekend! On October 26, 2024, and the Prairie View A&M University Panthers will gear up to face the Texas A&M - Commerce Lions. The Panthers, led by Coach Bubba McDowell, are currently 2-5 overall and 1-3 in conference play this season. The team is seeking to bolster their record as they prepare for a competitive bout against the Lions, who hold a 1-6 overall and 1-2 conference record.

HISTORIC RIVALRY RENEWED

This year's face-off marks a significant moment in the history of the two teams' rivalry, rekindling memories of their consecutive annual games from 1974-1977. The last game between the Panthers and the Lions was played over four decades ago, in 1977. The upcoming contest is anticipated to revive the historical competition, adding a fresh chapter to their storied match ups.

The home team showcases a strong lineup with pivotal players like Connor Wisham, the agile running back, flanked by quarterback Jaden Johnson and wide receiver Shemar Savage.
