PRAIRIE VIEW - In an eagerly awaited football encounter, the Prairie View A&M Panthers are gearing up to face the Miss. Valley State Delta Devils on November 2, 2024. The game is set to take place in Itta Bena, Miss., for a 2:00 pm kickoff on SWAC Digital Network (SDN).

Under the guidance of Coach Leonard "Bubba" McDowell, the Panthers are looking to improve their current season record of 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the SWAC. Despite their past success in the series, the Panthers trail the overall series against Mississippi Valley, with a record of 24 wins to 31 losses. This 56th meeting between the two teams is a must-win to narrow this gap. Last year, the Panthers defeated MVSU 31-12 at home.

The Panthers will rely heavily on key players like Jaden Johnson at quarterback, Ayden Jones anchoring the defense as a linebacker, Bryce Turner at safety, Connor Wisham at running back, and Shemar Savage at wide receiver. On the opposite side, the Delta Devils, coached by Kendrick Wade and currently standing at 0-8 for the season, will put their hopes in the hands of players like Ty'Jarian Williams at quarterback and Nathan Rembert as receiver.

This game is not just a regular season match but a chance for the Panthers to solidify their standings and for the seniors to make a lasting mark in their college football careers. All eyes will be on Rice Totten Stadium as the teams battle it out in this historic rivalry.
