PRAIRIE VIEW, TX - Prairie View A&M Panthers, coming off a victorious opening of their 2024-25 basketball season, prepare to host the Jarvis Christian Bulldogs on November 13, 2024. The Panthers, showcasing a strong start with a current record of 1-0 under Head Coach Sandy Pugh, look to maintain their winning momentum.

The Bulldogs, led by Head Coach Lynika Collins, will seek their first win of the season, arriving at the court with an 0-1 record. The spotlight for the Panthers remains on key players such as Guard Crystal Schultz, who dazzled in the season opener with 26 points and five assists. Alongside her is CJ Wilson, another proficient guard, who added 21 points and three assists. Center Amauri Williams also made significant contributions with 16 points, bolstering the team's solid performance.

As both teams gear up for the clash, the community and fans eagerly anticipate what promises to be an engaging contest between the Panthers' potent offensive lineup and the Bulldogs' determination to register their first win of the season. 

Fans are asked to bring can goods or nonperishable items.  There will be barrels located in the front lobby of the William J. Nicks Building.
