The women's basketball team are gearing up for an intensely anticipated face-off against the Alcorn State Braves on January 16, 2025. In what promises to be an electrifying atmosphere, the Panthers have declared the day a 'Black Out' event, urging all supporters to don black apparel in a show of solidarity and team spirit.
Under the leadership of Coach Sandra Pugh, the Panthers are set to for a win after their recent narrow loss in the last encounter with the Braves. Historically, Prairie View A&M has demonstrated dominance over Alcorn State, securing wins in 17 of their last 30 games. This upcoming contest offers an opportunity for the Panthers to leverage their home-court advantage and provide fans with a memorable game.
The game on January 16 not only holds significance in the rivalry stakes but also in fostering school spirit with the special 'Black Out' theme.
