MONTGOMERY, Ala. - In an eagerly anticipated SWAC matchup, Prairie View A&M Panthers will face off against the Alabama State Lady Hornets at their home court on January 25, 2025.
The game promises to be a momentous occasion as it marks the 85th contest between these two powerhouse teams, with the Lady Hornets currently leading the all-time series 50-34. Prairie View seeks to build upon its last victory against Alabama State, a close 46-43 win last year.
Under the guidance of Head Coach
Sandy Pugh, the Panthers aim to improve their current season record of 5-10 overall and 2-4 in the SWAC. Key players such as
Crystal Schultz (guard, 10.2 ppg),
Amauri Williams (forward, 9.3 ppg), and
