PRAIRIE VIEW, TX --The Prairie View A&M volleyball team secured a hard fought three-set victory (29-27, 25-23, 25-22) against the Southern Lady Jaguars Sunday at home at Baby Dome.
The conference win improved Prairie View A&M's record to 14-11 overall and 11-1 in SWAC play.
The Lady Panthers attack was paced by D'Mya Hill, who finished with 14 kills on the day while accumulating a hitting percentage of .367, and by Kylee Owens, who had 13 while hitting .429. got 19 digs from Leila Smalls to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Lady Panthers took the first set 29-27 propelled by a solid performance on the attacking end. Prairie View A&M registered a .310 attack percentage with 17 kills in the set victory. The Lady Panthers rallied from down six at 16-10 to grab the win.
SET 2 | Prairie View A&M carried momentum from a set-one win by earning a 25-23 victory in set number two. The Lady Panthers took the lead for good at 9-8 in a set that showcased eight lead changes before the Lady Panthers took over the lead. The Prairie View A&M offense also got a boost from three aces in the stanza.
SET 3 | Prairie View A&M took set three to sweep the match. The Lady Panthers won the set 25-22 propelled by a strong performance on the attacking end. Prairie View A&M put together a .313 attack percentage with 15 kills in the set win. After the lead changed hands two times, the Lady Panthers took control for good at 18-17 and rode that advantage to victory.
