Both awards reflect a season of growth, achievement, and program-defining performances for the Panthers.

Chase Bingmon Named SWAC Freshman of the Year
In his first full collegiate season, Bingmon emerged as one of the league's most dynamic offensive playmakers. Appearing in 11 games, the freshman rushed for 857 yards on 143 carries, averaging 6.0 yards per attempt and 77.9 yards per game. He found the end zone eight times on the ground, including a 74-yard breakaway run that showcased his elite speed and explosiveness.

Bingmon also contributed in the passing game, recording 17 receptions for 122 yards, proving to be a versatile asset in multiple offensive schemes. His 48 total points and consistent production helped power Prairie View's offense in key conference matchups throughout the season.

With vision, power, and maturity beyond his years, Bingmon's immediate impact made him a clear standout among SWAC freshmen, earning him one of the conference's highest individual honors.

Tremaine Jackson Named SWAC Coach of the Year
In his debut season, Coach Tremaine Jackson delivered one of the most impressive turnarounds in the FCS. Leading the Panthers to an 9–3 overall record and a 7–1 mark in conference play, Jackson guided Prairie View A&M to the SWAC Western Division title and a berth in the 2025 SWAC Championship Game.

Jackson's leadership transformed the program quickly and decisively. He established a culture centered on accountability, toughness, and excellence—principles that were reflected in the Panthers' improved performance on both sides of the ball. Prairie View displayed consistency, discipline, and resilience throughout the season, earning key victories that positioned the team among the conference's best.

Beyond the gridiron, Jackson emphasized academic achievement, character development, and community engagement. His ability to connect with his players and staff helped strengthen the program's foundation and elevate expectations for the future.
