The match saw Nicholls State emerging victorious, claiming both singles and doubles victories against the Panthers.
In the singles category, the Colonels showcased strong performances, with Maxwell Lindstedt and Marcell Marki defeating their Prairie View counterparts 6-3, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-1 respectively. For the Panthers,
Xavier Peter-Gooding and Eduardo Nunez Prado managed to tie their matches, keeping some hope alive for the team, but it was not enough to turn the tide. In doubles, the standout Panther pair was
Devyn Gans and Nunez Prado, who secured a win 6-3 against Nicholls State's Jewan Labuschagne and Gerhard Venter. However, Nicholls State claimed the overall doubles victory with a score of 2-1.
