Prairie View A&M (2-10) enters Saturday's match up looking to bounce back following a 70–55 loss to Southern University in its SWAC opener on Thursday in Baton Rouge, La. The Lady Panthers battled throughout the contest but were unable to overcome Southern's second-half surge. Prairie View showed flashes on both ends of the floor, working to establish rhythm offensively while competing on the glass and in transition during its first league outing of the season.
Saturday's game marks another early conference test as the Lady Panthers continue a challenging SWAC road stretch. Grambling State will provide a physical match up inside Hobdy Assembly Center, where conference games are traditionally hard-fought and competitive.
Under new head coach
Tai Dillard, Prairie View A&M continues to emphasize defensive pressure, disciplined execution, and balanced scoring as conference play progresses. The Lady Panthers will look to respond with energy and focus as they seek their first SWAC win of the season.
Fans are encouraged to tune in and follow the Lady Panthers throughout SWAC action this weekend.
