AUSTIN, Texas --The Prairie View A&M Panthers were not able to score a run against Houston pitcher freshman Nevaeh Brown on Sunday and were shut out 8-0 by the Cougars.
Senior Madalyne Martinez (0-2) started and took the loss in the circle for Prairie View A&M (8-11).
HOW IT HAPPENED
Prairie View A&M managed one chance with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 0-for-3 with runners in scoring position. The Panthers last got a runner on third in the first, when senior Kayla Zaid made it 60 feet away from scoring with one out.
