PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas --The Prairie View A&M Panthers fell 5-3 in a 10-inning matchup to the Texas Southern Tigers Friday.
Kayla Adams (10-6) started and took the loss in the circle for Prairie View A&M (17-13, 9-1). The right-hander went 10 innings, giving up five runs, four earned, on eight hits, allowing three walks and striking out six.
At the plate, the Panthers were paced by Dyani McKinley, who went 1-for-3 on the day with a walk and two RBIs. Morgan Smith put together a noteworthy effort as well, going 1-for-3 with two walks.
