PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas — Prairie View A&M women's basketball standout Crystal Shultz earned Second Team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) honors following an outstanding 2025–26 campaign in which she emerged as the league's top scorer and one of the conference's most consistent offensive threats.

Shultz delivered a dominant and steady offensive performance throughout the season, appearing in 26 games with 24 starts while averaging 32.4 minutes per contest.

Serving as the focal point of Prairie View A&M's offense, she consistently produced against conference opponents and helped power the Panthers' scoring attack.

The guard led the SWAC in scoring, finishing the season with 386 total points and averaging 14.8 points per game. Shultz showcased her versatility as a scorer, connecting on 124 field goals, including 50 three-pointers, while shooting 30.3 percent from beyond the arc. Her ability to score at all three levels forced defenses to adjust throughout the season and created opportunities for teammates.

Shultz also proved to be one of the conference's most reliable players at the free-throw line, converting 88-of-104 attempts (84.6%), a mark that ranked among the best in the league. Her poise and efficiency at the line were particularly valuable in late-game situations.

In addition to her scoring prowess, Shultz contributed across the stat sheet with 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game, while recording 26 steals on the defensive end. Her durability, leadership, and consistent production were evident as she logged heavy minutes and delivered key performances throughout the season.

Shultz's recognition on the All-SWAC Second Team highlights her exceptional season and her standing as one of the conference's premier offensive players during the 2025–26 campaign.
