Prairie View A&M women's track closes its regular season Saturday at the TCU Horned Frog Invite, a late-season meet that gives the Panthers one more chance to sharpen events and build momentum before the championship portion of the schedule. The meet is set for the Lowdon Track and Field Complex in Fort Worth, Texas,
The Panthers bring a wide group of athletes into the meet, with several field-event and middle-distance storylines worth tracking. In the horizontal jumps, Starrmia Dixon, Sanai Kintchen, Yasmine Rogers and Jada Stanford give Prairie View A&M multiple entries to watch in the long jump. Rogers also is slated for the triple jump, while Kintchen adds range to the lineup with appearances in the 100-meter hurdles and shot put, making her one of the team's most versatile athletes heading into the weekend.
Prairie View A&M also has key opportunities in the throws and distance events. Michaela Booker and Kintchen are names to follow in the shot put, while Christina Fitzpatrick is entered in the 5,000 meters and Meagan Meyers is set for the 1,500. Those events should help show the Panthers' depth across disciplines, especially at a meet that can serve as both a competitive test and a final tune-up.
On the track, the Panthers will look for strong efforts from Kimora Maxey in the 400-meter hurdles, Nikiyah Williams in the 400 meters, and Treasure Bethea and Nina Story in the 800. With the regular season winding down, each race carries added importance, not only for placement but also for rhythm and execution against a quality field. The same applies in the jumps, where Prairie View A&M has the chance to stack strong marks across multiple athletes rather than rely on a single standout.
Live results will be available online as Prairie View A&M measures itself in a final regular-season setting.
