BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – Prairie View A&M football will officially kick off the 2026 season at the Southwestern Athletic Conference Football Media Day on Wednesday, July 15, at the Sheraton Birmingham in Birmingham, Ala.

The annual event will begin at 10:00 am CST and will feature all 12 SWAC head football coaches along with two student-athletes from each institution as they discuss the upcoming 2026 football season.  One-on-one interviews with coaches and student-athletes will take place on the main stage.

Prairie View A&M head coach Tremaine Jackson will represent the Panthers alongside the two student-athletes wide receiver Rodny Ojo and defensive lineman Molik Mason who will join coaches and players from across the conference for media interviews and season previews.

The SWAC will also unveil its 2026 Football Predicted Order of Finish, providing the conference's preseason outlook ahead of the upcoming campaign.
