PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – Prairie View A&M offensive lineman Calvin McMillian has been named to the 2026 Stats Perform HBCU National Player of the Year Preseason Watch List, recognizing him as one of the top players among the 21 HBCU programs competing in NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).

A graduate offensive lineman standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 328 pounds, McMillian returns after an outstanding 2025 campaign in which he was named First Team All-SWAC. As a cornerstone of the Panthers' offensive front, he helped pave the way for one of the league's most productive offenses.

Behind McMillian and the offensive line, Prairie View A&M averaged 435.1 yards of total offense and 31.6 points per game while capturing the 2025 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Championship.

McMillian enters the 2026 season as one of the conference's premier offensive linemen and will once again anchor the Panthers' offensive line as Prairie View A&M looks to defend its SWAC title.

The Stats Perform HBCU National Player of the Year Award honors the most outstanding player from the 21 HBCU football programs competing at the FCS level. Alabama State quarterback Andrew Body, the 2025 recipient, headlines this year's 20-player preseason watch list.

McMillian's selection continues to highlight the national recognition Prairie View A&M football has received entering the 2026 season.
