Biography

PVAMU: Begins his second year as the team’s placekicker…had a solid inaugural season as he came through in several big game situations as a freshman and looks to improve even more as a sophomore.

2012: 2012 All-SWAC Selection and 2013 All-SWAC Preseason Selection…named to the 2013 College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) FCS Watch List for the 2013 CFPA Placekicker Award…led the Panthers in scoring with 65 points…bounced back from a rough 2011 campaign by nailing 9-of-11 field goals with a long of 38 yards…finished 38-of-40 on PATs…averaged 56.1 yards on kickoffs with four touchbacks…had five games with four or more PATs and finished 7-of-7 against Alcorn State and Grambling State…went 3-for-3 in field goals at Alabama A&M…went 2-of-2 at Jackson State and Mississippi Valley State...nailed a season-long 38-yarder against Mississippi Valley State on Nov. 10.

2011: Finished fourth in the SWAC with nine field goals made (9-of-17)…eighth in PAT kicking percentage (28-of-35 / 80%)…tied for third in scoring with 55 points on the season…kicked the game-winning 36-yard field goal at Texas Southern on Sept. 4 in which he was named SWAC Specialist of the Week…made 3-of-3 field goals versus Mississippi Valley State on Sept. 24 in Prairie View with a season-high of 46 yards…nailed his second-game winning field goal of the year on Oct. 8 as his 19-yarder defeated Southern in Baton Rouge, La…finished 2-for-3 at Texas State on Nov. 5....also averaged 37.8 yards per punt on four punts versus Bethune-Cookman….served as the team’s kickoff specialist with 56 kickoffs for a 51.2 yard average.

2010: Redshirted.

High School: Earned District 12-5A first-team honors as a kicker and second-team honors as a punter…first-team all-area punter…received his team’s special teams award…three-year varsity letterwinner…ranked the 22nd best recruit in Central Texas by Texas PrepInsider.com.
