Biography

PVAMU:  Starts his second year on the field after seeing limited action as a true freshman in 2011…showed several flashes of potential last season and should improve after a full year in the offensive system.

2011:  Threw for 172 yards…rushed for 117 yards and scored a touchdown…completed two passes in collegiate debut versus Bethune-Cookman…rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown, including a 66-yard run, in win over Mississippi Valley State…came off the bench and threw for 165 yards on 15-of-29 passing at Alabama State…also threw two touchdown passes at Alabama State…rushed for 44 yards on four attempts versus Jackson State.

High School: A three-star recruit by Rivals.com and two-star standout by Scout.com…led Lufkin High to a 9-2 (5-1 District 14-5A) record and an appearance in the playoffs...threw for 2,275 yards and 19 touchdowns with only five interceptions as a senior...completed 73.8 percent of his passes along with rushing for 778 yards and 16 touchdowns...named ESPN RISE Texas State Athlete of the Week on Oct. 29, 2010 for his performance versus Oak Ridge High School...was also a standout punter as he earned All-State First Team Honors and was named as the District 14-5A MVP.
